Butsenzeller/Dubois/Frateur
During the first lockdown of 2020, Nigel decided to team up with Antwerp underground musician Bootsie Butsenzeller (of Butzenzeller, DAAU & A clean Kitchen is a happy Kitchen fame) for a virtual collaboration. Together, they created an atmospheric song that combined Nigel’s electronic composition with Butzenzeller’s powerful rock drums.
To add the vocals to the track, the two asked Gregory Frateur (of Dez Mona) to join them in this Covid-Collab. Gregory poured his heart and soul into the lyrics, and “Won’t Give In” became an anthem for anyone affected by the struggles of 2020, with a message that transcends time and place.
